How do I determine the proper rope length?
Generally, the proper rope length is determined by your height as follows:
8 foot: 4'10"-5'3"
9 foot: 5'4"-5'10"
10 foot: 5'11" and over.
Optimum rope length depends on how high you hold your arms as you turn the rope with your wrist. If you're not sure, it is better to go with a longer rope which can be shortened at the handles.
